Intellectual property

All site content (texts, layout, visual identity, logo) is the property of the Association Fougères Musicales or used with the permission of its rights holders. Photographs of artists and concerts remain the property of their authors and are published with their permission. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited and may constitute infringement under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Ticketing, membership and donations

Online ticketing, membership and donations are handled through a specialised provider. Payment processing and sales terms are governed by that provider, under its own terms and privacy policy.

To specify once the provider is chosen (e.g. HelloAsso): its name and a link to its terms.

Liability

The association strives to keep published information accurate and up to date, without guaranteeing completeness. Programme, schedule and price information is provided for guidance and subject to change. The association cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from use of, or inability to access, the site.

External links

The site may contain links to third-party sites. The association has no control over these sites and accepts no responsibility for their content or data-handling practices.

Governing law

This site and its use are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute will be brought before the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Rennes.

What data, why, and for how long?

We only collect strictly necessary data, and only when you provide it to us.

Newsletter

  • Data: email address (and, where applicable, first and last name).
  • Purpose: to send you the festival newsletter.
  • Legal basis: your consent.
  • Retention: until you unsubscribe, possible at any time via the link in every email.

Formulaire de contact

  • Data: name, email, phone (optional) and the content of your message.
  • Purpose: to handle and answer your request.
  • Legal basis: your enquiry and the association's legitimate interest in responding.
  • Retention: 12 months after our last exchange.

Adhésion, dons et billetterie

  • Data: identity and contact details needed to manage your membership, donation or order.
  • Purpose: to manage the membership / donation / order and, where applicable, issue a tax receipt.
  • Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations (accounting and tax).
  • Retention: as required by law (up to 6–10 years for accounting records and tax receipts). Payment is handled by our provider: we keep no bank details.

Browsing

In its current version, the site sets no analytics cookies or advertising trackers. Only the technical data strictly necessary to display the pages is processed by the host.

To update if you add an analytics tool (Matomo, Google Analytics…) or third-party content (ticketing widget, map, video, social media): you will then need to describe these trackers and obtain visitors' prior consent.

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold or transferred. It may be processed by technical providers acting on our behalf, in compliance with the GDPR:

  • the site's host;
  • the newsletter delivery service;
  • the ticketing / membership / donation provider;
  • the contact-form processing service, where applicable.
To specify: name the providers actually used (e.g. Brevo for emailing, HelloAsso for ticketing), with a link to their privacy policy. Prefer providers hosting data within the European Union.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to contact@festivalfougeresmusicales.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr/plaintes).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. As no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, we would notify you without delay of any security incident affecting your data.

Cookies

The site uses no non-essential cookies by default. Should third-party services be embedded (ticketing, map, video, social media, analytics), they may set cookies: a consent banner would then let you accept or refuse them before any are set, and change your choice at any time. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies.
