Visitor information

Everything you need to enjoy the festival: the venues, getting here, prices, where to stay and eat.

Venues

Where the concerts take place

The main concerts are held at Saint-Sulpice church, with its exceptional acoustics, facing the castle of Fougères. The festival also uses the Victor-Hugo theatre (Italian-style hall) for schools concerts, along with other remarkable local venues depending on the edition.

Access

Getting to Fougères

Fougères is about 50 min from Rennes by car and 1 h from Saint-Malo. From Paris, allow around 3 h 30. Coach services link Rennes station to Fougères (regional BreizhGo network). Free car parks are available near the historic centre.

Prices

Seats for every budget

Our prices have been unchanged for several years. Reduced or free seats are available for children, students and jobseekers, and some concerts are free to attend. Full details are shown on the ticketing page.

Stay

Where to stay & eat

Several festival partners welcome you: the Hôtel Balzac, the Maison d'Hôtes Lariboisière, or the Crêperie La Broustal for a Breton break. The Pays de Fougères Tourist Office can advise on the full range of options.

See

Make it a weekend

Take the chance to discover the castle of Fougères, one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe, its gardens and old town — just steps from the concert venues.

Accessibility

Reduced-mobility access

We do our best to make concerts accessible to people with reduced mobility. To prepare your visit in the best conditions, contact us at contact@festivalfougeresmusicales.com.
